There is NO charge. However,
patients are given the opportunity to donate if they can afford
it. |

Volunteers in Medicine Clinic in Lake St. Louis? |

No. We are an independent
affiliate of Volunteers in Medicine National Alliance. |

What if I require
hospitalization? |

A. |
You must first talk with
patient accounts at the designated hospital and complete the
necessary paperwork to qualify you for needed care. |

Will I be able to get
medication? |
| |
A. |
Medications are provided in
one of three ways.
Many prescriptions can be purchased for $4. If a patient can
afford to pay for it, they do. Clinic staff assist patients in
completing paperwork to obtain medication through pharmaceutical
indigent drug programs. The clinic pays for needed medication if
they patient cannot pay or cannot be obtained through the above. |

How do I schedule an
appointment? |

All patients interested in
services must call during our open hours. You MUST speak with a
representative to schedule an appointment. NO EXCEPTIONS. |

Am I going to be seen by
a "real" doctor? |

All physician staff
volunteering are licensed to provide primary health care to our
patients. |
